Geoffrey Martin & Co joins PKF

Specialist business recovery and insolvency firm Geoffrey Martin & Co has merged with PKF Littlejohn, giving a significant boost to its presence in the insolvency market

Carmine Papa, managing partner of PKF Littlejohn, said: ‘Offering restructuring services is a string to our bow which we have never had.

'In the past, we maintained successful relationships with a variety of independent specialist firms. Having Geoffrey Martin & Co within the PKF network will allow us to work closely together and mutually support each other in the best interests of our clients.’

Formed in 1983 Geoffrey Martin & Co, which has offices in London and Leeds, comprises three partners and fifteen members of staff and works across a broad spectrum of industry sectors, specialising in complex corporate assignments involving a diverse range of stakeholders, in both an advisory and formal capacity.

The London office, led by partners Stephen Goderski and Peter Hart, will relocate to share the PKF Littlejohn offices at Westferry Circus in Canary Wharf. The Leeds office, led by partner James Sleight, will remain at its current location.

Stephen Goderski, London partner of Geoffrey Martin & Co, said: ‘We are delighted to be joining a growing network of firms with dedicated corporate recovery teams across the UK and Ireland. It means we will be able to call on deeper resources to advise on more complex projects and help our clients across the UK and internationally.’
