Top 15 firm Haines Watts has acquired Birmingham-based Michael Kay & Company as part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen its position as the leading adviser to the UK owner managed and SME market

The new combined office will have a total of 40 staff and add to Haines Watts’ focus on supporting business owners.

Haines Watts is ranked 14 in Accountancy Daily’s Top 75 Firms Survey 2019 with fee income at £84m in 2018, compared to £72.3m in 2017. The firm has 98 partners of which 16 are women.
