How to tackle workplace boredom - tips and advice for accountants

With almost half of accountants admitting to being bored at work, firms must tackle this issue early before staff start to search for a new job. Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library, provides advice on how to keep finance staff engaged

It is a reality of today’s society that many of us expect to be constantly entertained. This coupled with the fact that today’s professionals have high career expectations, means that job satisfaction is important to the UK workforce. Boredom can affect even the most studious of workers, and worrying new statistics from CV-Library, reveal that this afflicts almost half (49%) of accounting professionals, with a staggering 54.9% admitting that they have looked for a new job as a result of a dull work life.
