IIA plans overhaul of internal audit standards

The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is consulting on proposed changes to framework for the internal audit standards with a focus on ethics and scepticism

The proposed changes provide significant enhancements to ensure the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of internal audit services globally. The changes are so extensive that the standards have been renamed as the Global Internal Audit Standards, the IIA said.
