Boulton is a director, accounting research and policy at Fitch Ratings and leads the financial reporting research globally for Fitch Ratings, writing credit research on emerging accounting issues as well as providing training to Fitch’s analysts on accounting topics. He previously worked in the technical strategy department at ICAEW, where he was responsible for managing the response to emerging financial reporting topics as well as in the dotcom sector. He trained as an auditor at PwC.
