IASB names members of IFRS 9 financial instruments implementation group, while Grass Roots hire ex-BBC CFO and British Heart Foundation recruits former Waterstones' FD
IASB has confirmed details of the membership of its IFRS transition resource group for the new IFRS 9, Financial Instruments. UK representatives include John McDonnell, PwC partner in banking and capital markets group and Chris Spall, KMPG partner, internal standards group, gobal IFRS financial instruments leader.
Grass Roots, a provider of employee reward recognition programmes, has appointed Zarin Patel as CFO. Patel spent nine years as CFO at the BBC and was previously with KPMG for 15 years.
Martin Miles, former finance director at Waterstones, is to be the new CFO at the British Heart Foundation (BHF). He previously held senior finance roles at the HMV Group, after ten year with PwC.
Taxand has appointed Alain Recoules as leader of its global indirect tax service line. Recoules is based in Taxand France where he is a partner of Arsene Taxand and an expert in VAT and international trade regulations.
EY has appointed Randy Miller as global automotive and transportation sector leader. He has more than 25 years of consulting and client service experience with EY and formerly with Andersen Business Consulting.
