Business spokesmen from the three major political parties are to take part in a London business hustings event next week, giving the capital’s voters a chance to question them on key policy issues including tax
Working and living in London: the 2015 business election debate takes place on Monday 9 March from 6pm to 8pm at a central London venue.
Three MPs will debate the key tax issues for London, including Matthew Hancock, minister of state at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Chuka Umunna, shadow secretary of state for BIS, and business secretary Vince Cable.
The event is organised by the Federation of Small Businesses and London First, and is designed to give all three party representatives the chance to set out their respective stalls on key areas of tax and business policy for London. They will be taking questions from large and small London businesses and debating the issues.
