National Tax & Accountancy Conference set for 12 June

Registration is now open for this year’s National Tax & Accountancy Conference from Wolters Kluwer (formerly the CCH UK Conference), which will focus on the trends, techniques and technologies for running successful tax and accounting businesses

The one-day event, to be held in London on 12 June 2014, is themed under the banner ‘tactics for growth’. There will be keynote and platform presentations from leading business commentators — including economics commentator and broadcaster, Stephen Archer, and social media scientist, Allan Blair Beaton — as well as a series of practical breakout sessions focused on topical professional issues.

Sessions will cover three core themes of practice efficient, customer relationship management and financial reporting. Topics will include:

  • Practice efficiency: insights, guidance and advice on operating a growing business
  • CRM: effective customer relationship management techniques to strengthen and build client connections
  • Financial reporting: IFRS and UK GAAP, benchmarking and disclosures

Wolters Kluwer is partnering with MCSP for the event, which will also be presenting the development roadmaps for CCH software and Twinfield online accounting covering the next 12 months.

For continuing professional development (CPD), the conference is worth six CPD points.

The event will be held at the Grange St Paul's Hotel, 10 Godliman Street, London EC4V 5AJ.
