The partners at Henn & Westwood, a small firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors with offices in Wolverhampton and Halesowen, will be retiring.

A spokesperson at Nicklin told Accountancy: ‘The two partners of Henn & Westwood wanted to retire, and we have taken on the three chargeable staff, so that has now brought our staff and partners to 60.’

Under the leadership of managing partner Harvey Owen, the firm maintains an active acquisition strategy and continues to look for suitable practices which will complement its own offering.

Harvey said: ‘This is great news and we are all really pleased that the acquisition of Henn & Westwood has gone through successfully. Just like when we acquired Lowe McTernan, all of Henn & Westwood’s staff have been moved into our premises so there are no redundancies.’

This is the latest expansion for the LLP following the acquisition of Woodall Davies Bache in 2013 and Rubery-based Lowe McTernan in July 2012. Both practices were relocated into Nicklin’s offices.
