OECD consults on BEPS transfer pricing rules

Following this week’s update on progress with the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) project, the OECD has released details on a number of discussion drafts covering the additional work to be done to provide the framework for new tax avoidance rules, which will be put out for comment shortly

At an update meeting earlier this week, members of the BEPS taskforce said there would be six sets of draft proposals made available for discussion before the end of the year.

The first two on the list both relate to Action 10 of the BEPS plan, which focuses on transfer pricing rules to ensure rules are in line with value creation.

The first discussion draft examines the transfer pricing aspects of cross-border commodity transactions.
