After nearly three weeks in the castle, the youngest player, 22-year-old Middlesborough auditor Faraaz Noor is up against five remaining players in The Traitors finale, and the burning question is whether he can throw a blinder and overturn the odds against him.

But his chances of walking away a winner are slim with show favourites Jack and Rachel having the best odds and looking to be taking the spoils.

Two Traitors Stephen and Rachel remain for tonight’s final, along with four Faithfuls after Roxy was murdered last night.

While Noor has not been one of the loudest players in the castle, he has been astute and ever watchful, seemingly trying to ‘stay below the radar’ for much of the time and in recent shows he has come out of his shell.

People really started taking notice when Noor made a last minute ditch to get to the finish line, declaring that Rachel was a Traitor on Wednesday’s show. This caused a surge of support on Instagram, with fans taken aback, saying ‘we all thought he was here to use up his annual leave’, while others called him 'Faraaza Christie'. 

This is the last push with the show kicking off at 8.30 on BBC1 tonight and with viewing figures set to hit 10 million, the graduate trainee auditor will be hoping this is his lucky night. Before the show, he said if he won the prize money he would take his family on pilgrimage to the Hajj, and wanted to put aside some money for a new car, showing his astute financial skills even before he entered the castle.

Going back to his day job after the fame of the show will be interesting, but Noor shows the signs of being a great auditor. And it is clearly something he has wanted to do for a long time having graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in accounting and finance. But interrogating the numbers is just his day job, he has a side hustle blogging about food and restaurants on TikTok.

The Traitors will be broadcast live on BBC1 and iPlayer at 8.45 tonight.
