In the nail-biting finale of The Traitors, Faraaz survived the first round of voting as Jade was banished from the castle, but the last stretch was an ask too far.

One of four remaining players, including the most impressive Traitors Rachel and Stephen, and fellow Faithful Jack, this meant Faraaz was always going to be up against seriously tough competition. But despite getting voted off in the second round at the fire pit, Faraaz did a great job, and after a slow burn start the youngest player on the show came across as a fun, engaging and witty character by the end of the show.

So it was banishment for Faraaz in the second moment at the fire pit, when he revealed he was a Faithful, to the surprise of some of the other players. This only left popular Jack in the final round, up against the combined strength of the two remaining Traitors, who despite a moment of jeopardy for Rachel when Stephen took forever to make his final vote, together won the show, sharing the prize money and endlessly entertaining the nation for three weeks with over nine million watching the final last Friday night.

Congratulations to Faraaz, he was a fun player to watch, dubbed Faraaza Christie on Insta, and admired for his quiet observational skills. Now it’s back to the day job as an internal audit trainees at a major listed construction company. Good luck..
