Partnership changes at Reeves

Reeves has reshuffled its top management team, with a number of partnership changes following the appointment of current managing partner Clive Stevens as executive chairman of the firm.

Stevens, who has spent 18 years as managing partner at the firm, which specialises in tax and financial services, is to succeed David Ashman as executive chairman at the start of next year. He will continue to represent the firm internationally as a board director at Kreston International, the firm's global accounting network, and to act as an ICAEW council member.

Stevens said: 'On behalf of the partners I would like to thank David for all his work for the partnership as chairman and for his wise counsel over many years - his contribution to the firm has been significant.'

Nigel Fright will take over as managing partner of Reeves, which is ranked 28 in the Accountancy league table, from 1 January 2014. In addition, at the same time, Andrew Griggs will become senior partner with a main focus on being responsible for client services.

Stevens said: 'I am delighted to have Nigel and Andrew succeed to my current role and for them to be able to take the firm forward at a time of considerable change for the profession as a whole. They are both extremely talented individuals and I know they will be able to head the firm and lead it to even greater success over the next few years'.

With offices in London and the south east, Reeves currently has a fee income in excess of £20 million and employs over 250 people.
