In this week’s accountancy career moves, partner appointments at BDO and Crowe, senior hires at RSM, Cowgills and Hargreaves Lansdown, and Brearley & Co directors increase shareholding
BDO has appointed Geeta Joshi and Bernd Kemp as partners. Joshi joins BDO as an audit partner in the firm’s financial services team. She has over 20 years’ experience in public practice with extensive audit and assurance experience serving the financial services sector. She has previously specialised in auditing and advising on changes to financial and regulatory reporting in the insurance industry. Kremp joins as a partner in BDO’s technical standards group (TSG). His previous roles have seen him focus on technical accounting with a focus on IFRS. Both partners were previously associate partners at EY.
Crowe has promoted Matt Doyle-Healey to partner in the firm’s audit practice. He has more than 16 years’ experience providing audit, risk and accountancy support to businesses of all sizes from owner-managed firms to large corporates. He has a broad range of sector expertise from manufacturing and technology to stockholding and distribution. In addition, he has a particular interest in the education and academies sectors and has been actively involved in supporting local academies through the challenges of Covid-19.
