Haslers strengthens management board, EY poaches KPMG partner to boost fraud investigations team and Fish Partnership names board director

EY has appointed Donald Forsyth, formerly one of Scott-Moncrieff’s senior partners, to its Inverness office. Forsyth joins as an assurance partner, and has  experience in technology, renewable energy, forestry and farming, property and construction and professional services.

In London, EY has appointed a new partner, Rachel Sexton, to bolster its fraud investigations and disputes services team. Sexton has over 20 years’ experience working with clients in the banking and insurance sectors in the UK, US, Germany and Switzerland. Prior to joining EY, she was a partner at KPMG.

Essex-based firm Haslers has appointed two new members to its management board. Michael Watts heads up the corporate finance department and provides both lead advisory services and support in a range of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and SME financing. Nick Nicholson is a licensed insolvency practitioner, a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association.

Cardiff-based accountancy firm Harris Lipman has welcomed Huw Lewis as a junior case administrator in business recovery and insolvency. Lewis, who is studying for ACCA qualification, was previously an information officer at the National Assembly for Wales. Rhianydd Lloyd  has also joined as an insolvency administrator.

Buckinghamshire-based chartered accountants, The Fish Partnership, has appointed a new member to its board of directors. Christopher Nisbet has been appointed to the position of director having spent almost nine years providing services to the firm’s wide range of clients since joining as an audit and accounts trainee.
