In this week’s accountancy career moves, partner promotions at KPMG, ReSolve and Carpenter Box, and hires at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, Alvarez & Marsal and Kilsby Williams

KPMG in the UK has promoted nearly 1,900 partners and colleagues, demonstrating the firm’s continued development and investment in its future leaders. These latest promotions consist of 108 new partners, seven associate partners and 227 directors. A further 850 colleagues have also been promoted, while 700 graduates and apprentices have progressed following successful completion of their exams. KPMG UK now has 781 partners, comprising of 502 equity partners and 279 salaried partners.

KPMG UK has appointed Katie Clinton to lead its financial services practice in the UK regions, replacing Richard Little who is retiring after 29 years with the firm. Clinton has over 20 years’ experience providing audit, governance, risk and control services to clients in the UK and internationally. She joined KPMG in Manchester in 2000 as a graduate trainee in the financial services audit team and became a partner in 2014.
