In this week’s accountancy career moves, a raft of partner promotions at Larking Gowen, Mercer & Hole, Johnston Carmichael, Moore Kingston Smith, EY and KPMG, plus ICAEW, FRC

Azets has appointed Roger Eigenheer as deputy chief operating officer (COO) based out of the Belfast office. He is an experienced professional services leader with a background in technology, and has scaled and led large, diverse teams and associated transformation programmes. Eigenheer joins Azets from EY, where he set up the firm’s delivery and innovation hub, focusing on technology enabled client delivery for UK and Ireland, and scaling it to deliver over £25m in fees per annum.

East Anglian accountancy firm, Larking Gowen, has promoted manager Laurie Hill to partner in its farms and landed estates team. Hill, who joined the firm in 2019, will be starting his new position in April 2023.
