PwC has expanded its pensions and investment consulting team with the appointment of Leo Ring and Hannah Carter. Ring joins the firm as a director from KPMG’s pensions actuarial team, having started his career at Towers Watson. Carter comes from Aon Hewitt.

RSM has welcomed back risk advisory partner and technology risk specialist Sheila Pancholi, who has spent the last two years at PwC. Pancholi will be the key point of contact for IT advisory work with the RSM firm in the US , and has substantial IT advisory and assurance experience gained across sectors over a period of 20 years.

Guernsey Finance, the promotional agency for the island’s finance industry internationally, has appointed Lyndon Trott as its chairman. He replaces Jim Gilligan, who is retiring having held the position since 2006. Elected as Guernsey’s first treasury minister in 2004, Trott became the jurisdiction’s youngest and longest-serving chief minister to date in 2008, a position he held until 2012. A former City trader specialising in proprietary foreign exchange, Trott is now an independent non-executive director sitting on the boards of a leading Guernsey-based fiduciary company, an independent private equity and real estate fund administrator and an AIM-traded private equity fund.

London and south east-based Kreston Reeves has announced the expansion of the firm’s office space within Discovery Park, Sandwich, which is four times the current capacity. The site, formerly owned by Pfizer, has enterprise zone status, and Kreston Reeves says the increase in presence will allow the firm to increase the number of service offerings it provides, as well as making  room for additional specialists from across the firm, offering expertise in areas including business advisory, financial planning and taxation advice.
