Peter Halford is a senior technical writer in the tax team at Croner. He has practised in tax as a solicitor for 30 years, specialising in corporate direct taxation. Before joining Croner in 2024, he worked as an advisory lawyer in the tax department of then named Lovell White Durrant for over 10 years, specialising in M&A tax, general corporate tax and investment funds. He then spent time at the Office of the Solicitor to HMRC, before returning to the private sector in 2014 to the tax disputes team at PwC
