HMRC is organising a VAT place of supply of services and VAT Mini One Stop Shop (MOSS) event in London on 2 June 2014 for businesses affected by the reporting changes being introduced on 1 January 2015.
From 1 January 2015 businesses will have to comply with new VAT place of supply rules for business to consumer (BTC) supplies of broadcasting, telecommunications and electronic services (BTE). Businesses will need clear and detailed information about how to deal with these changes. They will also need information about how to register to use the optional MOSS business simplification system.
The event will provide a round-up of the 2015 VAT rule changes and how MOSS will work. There will also be a Q&A session for delegates to question EC officials and representatives of member state tax administrations about the impact of the changes.
The event, which is organised with the support of the European Commission (EC), will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Broad Sanctuary, Westminster, London SW1P 3EE.
Delegate confirmations will be issued by 30 April 2014.
The deadline for registration is 25 April 2014.
