Top 20 firm Saffery Champness has re-shuffled its management team in a move which sees partners rotating through key roles as heads of groups.
Mike Di Leto takes over as head of the firm's 75-strong business advisory group from Nick Kelsey, while Matthew Burton replaces James Sykes as head of the private wealth and estates group.
Di Leto has been with Saffery Champness for 15 years and became a partner in 2001. He will oversee the services the firm provides across all business sectors, including sports and entertainment, professional partnerships and consultancy businesses, as well as not-for-profit entities. Burton, who will be responsible for the firm's private client offering, is a qualified accountant, chartered tax adviser and as a chartered surveyor.
Kelsey and Sykes will be returning to their roles as fee-earners within their teams.
Jonathan Fox, Saffery Champness managing partner, said: 'James and Nick have done some fantastic work over the years and I would also like to thank them for this. We can now look forward to their continued contribution to the growth of Saffery Champness.'
Following Burton's switch in roles, Liz Brierley, a partner based in the firm's Bournemouth office, becomes head of the national landed estates practice group, overseeing the provision of services to landed estates and rural business clients.
Saffery Champness has 61 UK partners and more than 400 staff, with nine offices in the UK and one each in Guernsey, Geneva and Zurich. The firm recently announced it has formed an alliance with the 360 Legal Group, which provides business support to over 700 law firms. Saffery Champness will be providing members of the group with access to specialised audit, taxation and accountancy services via the legal sector teams based around the country.
