This is the second deal for S&W in Ireland in three months, signalling the firm’s intention to rapidly extend the business into the Irish market.

The MC2 deal will see 47 staff and four of the firm’s partners, including James Loughrey, current managing partner, Mary Blyth, James McMahon and Pamela Murphy, become partners at S&W’s Ireland business, which currently employs around 115 people.

Established in 2013, MC2 provides audit, tax and business advisory services, and also incorporates Parfrey Murphy, which it acquired in 2022.
