Goldfish Umbrella Limited is accused of operating disguised remuneration schemes following an HMRC investigation.

The London-based company was set up in August 2021 by sole director Darren Cooper, although he resigned in March 2024.

Previously Cooper was director of six agencies, all now liquidated or dissolved, which traded as CH Commercial Staffing, CH Healthcare Staffing and CH Construction Staffing, among others under the CH brand. The businesses were all dissolved by the end of 2022, and Cooper resigned as a director in February 2022, less than a year after he set up Goldfish Umbrella.
