Taxand recruits Irish member

Taxand, the global network of tax advisers, has announced that William Fry Tax Advisers is to join its network as the member firm for Ireland. The deal means that clients of William Fry now have access to over 2,000 tax professionals in 45 countries around the world. Greenwoods and Freehills was also confirmed as the new Australian member. William Fry was established in 1847 and is one of Ireland's largest law firms with a dedicated tax arm. Martin Phelan, head of William Fry, said: 'Joining Taxand gives us the potential to deliver for even more clients looking to establish themselves in Ireland and gives us access to a wider and deeper pool of international contacts.' Frédéric Donnedieu de Vabres, chairman of Taxand, said: 'William Fry Tax Advisers offer best-in-class tax advice and the quality of people we expect in Taxand. 'Moreover, by adding Ireland to the network, Taxand is more capable than ever of delivering high quality, integrated global tax advisory services.'
