The aim is to promote comparability across financial disclosures as well as feedback on the proposed changes to climate-related targets and transition plans and is set for publication this autumn.

There are currently a number of different reporting measures for climate change disclosures and investors have criticised the lack of standardised industry metrics; and one of the top disclosure improvements requested by users was the disclosure of standard, industry-specific, climate-related metrics.
