Cyber criminals are targeting accountancy firms in a bid to access tax records, payroll data and client information. A recent report by PwC showed that accountancy firms are at a 30% higher risk of falling prey to cyberattacks, making the need to improve their cyber resilience all the more critical.

As we continue to adapt to being a more remote workforce, there has been a 300% increase in cyberattacks on accounting practices of all sizes. Attacks are sophisticated and often strike at the year-end or when tax return deadlines are due.
