Baker Tilly has promoted nine partners and 11 directors across a number of service lines and regions, following the firm's acquisition of RSM Tenon in September.
The new promotions, which became effective from 1 October, are a combination of Baker Tilly and former RSM Tenon staff.
Laurence Longe, Baker Tilly's national managing partner said: 'The last few months have seen great change and growth for Baker Tilly, and these individuals will help to further strengthen and improve our offering to new and existing clients, as well as play an important role in the future success of the firm.'
Baker Tilly is now the seventh largest accountancy firm in the UK with annual revenues of £350m, and over 4,000 partners and staff working across more than 50 offices.
The firm has said it will be merging offices in London, Milton Keynes, Basingstoke, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Stoke, Edinburgh and Glasgow in the early part of next year, but has not released details of any restructuring plans post-merger.
New partners in London are Andrew Conti, forensics; Chris Knowles, IT advisory services; David Moran, restructuring business finance; Steve Jacob, business tax; and Mark Nisbett, audit. Dan Harris, risk advisory and internal audit becomes a partner, based in Milton Keynes, along with Richard Haynes, financial management. Gavin Stewart is promoted to partner, restructuring business finance, based in Manchester, and Mike Toole is partner, financial management, heading up operations and IT functions nationally.
The promotions to director include Andrew Cowking and James Lye, based in Rochdale; Gareth Jones and Jon Kicks, based in Leicester; Lucy Dixon, based in Basingstoke; Rebecca Prime and Simon Cooper, based in Nottingham; Kim Robinson, based in London; Duncan Lyle, based in Southampton; David McComb, based in Edinburgh; and Marion Brewer, based in Chorley.
