Big Four firm Deloitte has reported record revenues of £4.94bn, up 10% from the previous year, with partner pay exceeding £1m

Revenue for the year ended 31 May 2022 increased by 10% to £4.94bn from £4.04bn year on year as resilient markets saw substantial growth in advisory, and audit and assurance.

Average profit per member was £1,058,000 in the year ended 31 May 2022, up 24% from £854,000 in 2021 as the distributable operating profit rose by 21% to £711m. The firm also paid out a one-off capital profit on the sale of the restructuring business to Teneo, which averaged £196,000 per equity partner.

UK advisory businesses grew by 11% to £2.46bn with the consulting business contributing £1.37bn in revenues, up 15% from £1.18bn the FY21. This was driven by demand across the private sector as it rebounded from the constraints of the pandemic.
