Established in 1957, accountancy firm Harwood Hutton has 70 staff and two offices in Beaconsfield and London. The firm will be rebranded as Evelyn Partners and will benefit from access to all the firm’s corporate back office services, technology platform as well as technical expertise.

Harwood Hutton reported fee income of £7.2m for year end 31 March 2023, with revenue up 10% as a result of organic growth, and profit before tax of £2.7m. The value of the deal was not disclosed. 

The acquisition marks Evelyn Partners first move into the Thames Valley, which it has earmarked as a key area for expansion as the top 10 firm set its sights on expanding its national presence.
