Big Four accounting firm EY and tech company Adobe have announced an alliance to expand EY’s digital expertise and web content services to help clients with their digital projects, including web content management

Adobe, a leader in digital marketing solutions, will work with EY to help companies improve profitability and gain competitive advantage through digital transformation programmes.

‘The alliance with Adobe further strengthens EY’s ability to provide clients with a complete digital marketing suite for strategy, marketing technology, content management and analytics,’ said Greg Jenko, Americas digital and emerging technology leader, at EY.

‘As the market continues to shift toward the concepts of digital enterprise and experience-led transformation, EY sees this as a key opportunity to team with Adobe to develop a new suite of capabilities and offerings to support our clients.’

The deal with Adobe will help EY clients to implement large-scale digital services and integrate data from Adobe Analytics into Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to improve customer engagement across the web, social and mobile channels.

Norman Lonergan, EY global vice chair, advisory, says: ‘To address our clients’ ever-changing demands for skills, tools and services, we are building on our own technology platforms as well as forming strategic alliances and making acquisitions.

‘The EY alliance with Adobe enhances our ability to give clients large-scale digital services and integrated web analytics.’

Adobe Marketing Cloud enables companies to use big data to effectively reach and engage customers and prospects with personalised marketing content across devices. The range of services include analytics; web and app experience management; testing and targeting; advertising; audience management; video; social engagement; and campaign orchestration.

Adobe recently announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft to integrate Adobe Marketing Cloud into Microsoft’s Dynamics, which closely aligns with the 2015 EY alliance with Microsoft.

This also ties in with EY’s October 2015 acquisition of NorthPoint Digital, a digital innovation services company, which builds and implements technology platforms to run large scale websites, apps and portals, and is also partnered with Adobe.
