Financial sector concerned about applicants’ qualifications

Fraud, false accounting and applicants lying about their qualifications on their CVs are key ethical concerns for the financial sector

A recent survey by the Institute of Business Ethics (IBE) has revealed the key ethical risk factors to businesses in 2024 and what business leaders themselves are most concerned about.

For the financial services sector, in which there were 81 respondents, the top issue was applicants lying on their applications especially about their qualifications. Secondly, data protection was a top concern, followed by the risk of fraud.
