The latest figures on FTSE 100 financial
directors’ pay show big money is still being made despite public
concern over boardroom salaries, says Liz Loxton
On the face of it, FTSE 100 finance directors and their remuneration
boards did the decent thing for the reporting period 2010/11.
The average salary for the UK’s elite FDs rose a mere
2% and bonuses fell by 27% compared to findings in last year’s
Accountancy FD salary and remuneration survey. Companies appear to
have been circumspect and kept their public profile in mind when it
comes to rewards for their heads of finance.
