Essex-based chartered accountants Haslers has merged with long-established local firm R L Jackson & Co as they seek to consolidate their position as one of the region’s leading practices
The two firms will be rebranded under the Haslers name and will be based out of the firm’s offices in Loughton. Haslers has an estimated fee income of £10m.
The merger will see the transfer of seven staff members to Haslers, including the partner of R L Jackson & Co, Robert Jackson, who will act as a consultant at the newly merged practice.
Jackson said: ‘Having worked with Haslers in the past on a number of projects I am delighted that our two firms are coming together.
‘There is strong demand for the high quality services we are able to provide and I am certain that our merger will strengthen our position as one of the top firms in Essex.’
As part of the merger, Haslers will take on R L Jackson & Co’s wide range of clients, which include sub-contractors and medium-sized limited companies, as well as the firm’s specialism in the dental profession.
