Convergence of IFRS and US GAAP

‘The era of convergence is coming to an end,’ warned International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) chairman Hans Hoogervorst in his response to the latest staff report from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the allowing or requiring of US companies to use IFRS.
