KPMG has appointed Nick Roome as a new partner to lead its legal services practice in Manchester, which is part of the firm's wider UK tax practice. Roome joins from DLA Piper and will lead KPMG's team in the North.

East Anglian-based firm Larking Gowen, has appointed Andrew Kelsall to partner. Having previously worked with the firm in the early 1980s as an articled clerk, Kelsall has spent most of his career in the Insolvency Service and was the Official Receiver in Norwich when he rejoined Larking Gowen in 2012 as director of business recovery.
Top 40 firm Bishop Fleming, is moving its Plymouth office to Salt Quay House on the city's waterfront. The firm will move its 40 staff from the offices which it has occupied since taking over the Plymouth operations of Grant Thornton in 2002 to the next premises overlooking Plymouth's Sutton Harbour, which is becoming the city's hub for professional services.
