Senior members of EY’s management team have been recognised for their contributions to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) inclusion inside and outside the workplace by the OUTstanding professional network
Each person on the list was scored on the seniority and influence of their role, their impact on LGBT inclusion inside and outside the workplace and their business achievements.
Beth Brooke-Marciniak, EY global vice chair – public policy, and Liz Bingham, partner, EY UK & Ireland, are featured in the 2015 leading 100 LGBT executives list, at number 7 and 11 respectively.
Steve Varley, EY’s UK & Ireland chairman and managing partner, appears for the second year on the 2015 leading 30 ally executives list at number 13, and is joined for the first time by Nancy Ngou., Partner, EY Japan, who is ranked at 20.
Rath Wang, senior consultant, EY Japan, debuts on the inaugural 2015 Top 30 LGBT future leaders list which ranks him number four for the commitment he has already shown to advancing progress of the inclusion of LGBT in the workplace.
Liz Bingham, EY partner, said: ‘Identifying senior LGBT executives and allies sends a clear message that you can be yourself and have a successful career. Difference is a competitive advantage and we should celebrate the diverse perspectives that talented people, regardless of their gender, sexuality or background can bring to UK business.’
