Top 20 firm MHA Macintyre Hudson has completed a deal to merge its Kent offices with Percy Gore, a firm of chartered accountants based in Margate, in a bid to expand the firm’s presence in the region
Following MHA MacIntyre Hudson’s merger with the Kent offices of Haines Watts in December last year, the latest deal creates a county-wide team of nearly 100 partners and staff operating from offices in Maidstone and Canterbury.
Ranked at number 16 in Accountancy’s league table of firms, MHA Macintyre Hudson reported fee income of £59.8m last year, while Percy Gore’s fee income is £750,000.
All Percy Gore staff and partners have transferred to MHA MacIntyre Hudson, and will relocate to the MHA the firm’s offices in New Dover Road, Canterbury, except for partner Nigel Wreford who is retiring.
