Anthony Snow has stepped in to the position of chief operating officer at the Financial Reporting Council. A qualified accountant, Snow most recently held the position of COO at the Wales Audit Office and has vast experience in public and private sector auditing. He will be dealing with a wide range of issues across the business, assuming responsibility for the overall development of the FRC's strategy and business plan for corporate communications. 'The FRC considers it particularly important that we communicate powerfully with the market and that our reputation is deservedly strong amongst all our stakeholders, including other international and regulatory authorities, parliament and those sections of the public we serve, such as investors,' said Stephen Haddrill, the FRC's new chief executive, who took over the position from Paul Boyle this week. Snow said he was 'grateful for the opportunity'.
