The Production Guild has launched the first fully subsidised training scheme for assistant production accountants in partnership with Netflix
Led by industry professionals, the successful trainees will then work on Netflix productions over a 12-month period, supporting the work of the accounts departments.
The course will be open to up to 10 trainees with qualifications or equivalent work experience in accounting to work on productions across the UK. Applicants need to be highly numerate and have a passion for film and TV.
Relevant experience might include work as a cashier, bookkeeper or in a junior financial administration capacity.
At the end of the training programme, there will be opportunities for candidates to work in the accounts department on Netflix productions including series, film, or non-scripted programmes.
Training will take place at Warner Bros Studios, Leavesden Park near Watford and will run Monday to Friday across four weeks beginning Monday 26 February 2024 from 9.30am-5.30pm.
The deadline for applications is 10am on 4 January.
