Simon Dingemans, chief financial officer (CFO) of phamaceutical giant GSK, has been appointed chairman of The 100 Group whose membership represents the views of the finance directors of FTSE 100 and several other large UK private companies. He replaces chairman Robin Freestone, group CFO of Pearson, who steps down from the lobbying group this month, but will continue to be an active member. Dingemans joined GSK in 2011 from Goldman Sachs International where he was a managing director and partner.

The Insolvency Service has announced the appointment of Sarah Albon as its new chief executive. She joins from HM Courts & Tribunals Service where she is director of strategy and change, and played an integral part in the major reform of the administration of courts and tribunals services. Albon was previously director of civil family and legal aid policy at the Ministry of Justice.

Games Workshop has appointed Rachel Tongue as group finance director. A chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser, Tongue joined the company in 1996 and is currently company secretary and legal and compliance manager.

Harris Lipman has hired Chris Agass as a trainee accountant. He holds a business management and financial services planning degree from Nottingham Trent and previously worked at an insurance broker. Rafey Feroze joins as an audit senior, having previously worked for around eight years at a sole practitioners in Palmers Green, London.
