Steve Hubbard FCA is a director, DPP accounting & reporting at KPMG LLP, which advises on accounting and financial reporting issues arising under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), UK GAAP and UK company law. He has specialised in many areas of accounting and is currently the DPP lead on financial instruments issues, including the implementation of IFRS 9 Financial Instruments. He is also a member of KPMG’s European Financial Instrument Centre of Excellence, a small group of financial instrument specialists set up to advise on complex financial instrument accounting issues.
