Coming soon… Croner Intelligence AI virtual assistant

Croner Intelligence

Exciting news for accountants and finance professionals as we prepare to launch Croner Intelligence, our brand new AI virtual assistant

Croner Intelligence has been created to transform how teams access trusted professional knowledge and is a UK tax, accounting and audit research assistant powered by AI. It explains the rules, conditions, tests and procedures, and cites authoritative sources back to you.

The new AI virtual assistance is built entirely on Croner’s verified expert-authored content in Navigate Tax and Navigate Audit & Accounting. It is designed to deliver fast, reliable answers while significantly reducing the risk of inaccurate or misleading responses, and to make your own informed decisions faster.

Paul Robbins, director of tax, content and consultancy at Croner, said: ‘Croner Intelligence is a research and explanation tool rather than a tax adviser: it gives you the rules, conditions and decisive facts so you can reach your own conclusion - rather than recommending a course of action, confirming a filing position, or predicting what HMRC will accept. It is a vital tool to research and understand, and to make your own informed decisions faster.’

Our brilliant team of in-house AI experts, and tax and accountancy specialists at Croner, have driven the development of Croner Intelligence, our much anticipated AI virtual assistant, to ensure it meets the needs of the profession.

‘Croner Intelligence is different because it draws only from Croner’s own expert content, not the open internet,’ explained Julien Gruhier, director of search and generative AI. ‘That means every answer carries the same authority and accuracy you have always expected from us, now available at speed, without the searching, the validating or the uncertainty that slows everything down.

‘Users can provide complex scenarios, layered facts, and multiple issues in a single prompt, while the agent retrieves and reasons over the relevant guidance. They can also upload documents of several pages to provide additional context, allowing the agent to assess the full scenario without requiring users to oversimplify their question.’

The launch date for Croner Intelligence is set for mid-June.
