With one in six people in the UK subscribing to its services, BSkyB is the country’s largest pay-TV broadcaster and its success continues to grow. Last October, the company reported strong growth in its first quarter profits, with revenue up 9% to £1.66bn and adjusted operating profit ahead of forecasts, up 16% to £295m.
