Financial mismanagement of charity causes debts of £7.1m

Severe financial mismanagement by trustees of an educational charity caused a run up of debts of £7.1m, an inquiry has found

In November 2020 an action plan was issued to the trustees of the Nanaksar Thath Isher Darbar Trust charity, by the Charity Commission under section 84 of the Charity Act, after an investigation by the Commission found severe mismanagement of funds by its trustees.
