Graham Gordon has been named managing partner at top 60 accountancy firm, Moore Smalley.
Gordon, who is head of financial planning and wealth management, takes over in October from David Ingram, who has held the position since 2008 and is returning to a full-time client advisory role. Gordon joined Moore and Smalley in 1996, having worked in two other regional accountancy firms, becoming a partner in 2000.
Moore and Smalley employs 18 partners and 200 staff with offices in Preston, Blackpool, Kendal, Lancaster and East Midlands, and has a fee income of £11m.
Gordon said: 'Under David's leadership, the firm has grown into new territories, launched new services and continued the great Moore and Smalley tradition of putting the client and our people at the heart of everything we do. I am proud to be given the opportunity to continue this great work.'
