Accounting firm Wilkins Kennedy’s Winchester office is to merge with local firm FBR Accounting in a bid to grow its presence in the Solent region
The merged entity will be known as Wilkins Kennedy and two directors and 11 staff will join Wilkins Kennedy from FBR.
Ian Talbot, managing partner of Wilkins Kennedy’s Winchester and Romsey offices, said: ‘The merger will allow us to expand further on current offerings, particularly in the cloud accounting sector and the use of software such as Xero, as the new members of the team will be able to provide additional expertise. We look forward to having them on board.’
Established in 1882, Wilkins Kennedy is ranked in 19th position in the Accountancy Top 75 league table of firms and has a turnover of over £38m. The firm has 68 partners and approximately 500 staff across14 UK offices and one office in the Falkland Islands.
