IASB plans events to debate conceptual framework

The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) is holding two events in London later this month to gain feedback on the review of the conceptual framework for financial reporting.

The discussions will focus on the issues around the preparation and presentation of financial statements, including what should be reported in the profit or loss account and other comprehensive income (OCI); the use of current market values and historical cost; and the role of prudence and stewardship.

IASB says the events will provide a platform for exchanging views on its discussion paper A Review of the Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting.

The first event, on 26 November, is being held in partnership with the ICAEW at Chartered Accountants Hall. Register HERE.

The 27 November event is co-hosted by the CBI, register HERE.
