rise, Sarah Perrin ACA asks if insolvency practitioners are paid too
much?
Insolvency practitioners’ fees are currently the subject
of an independent review initiated by business minister Jo Swinson
in December, looking at issues such as how well controls on fees work
in practice. Announced in the wake of the collapse of retailer Comet,
the review reflects a widespread perception (whether correct or otherwise)
that IP fees are too high and come at the expense of unsecured creditors.
