Government abandons reform of pre-packs

The government has decided not to introduce proposed changes tightening controls on pre-pack administration sales to connected parties. It is not convinced the benefits of the new rules would ‘outweigh the overall benefit to business of adhering to the moratorium on regulations affecting micro-business’.
